I hope you are doing well.Since I have away for a while, this is my first week back to writing a proper blog on what we have done in AEP10 class. We began a new lesson on writing and common errors made when doing so.Many people tend to make mistakes in spelling, word order, and grammar.Hopefully, this lesson decreased the chance of my fellow classmates and making any mistakes. We will find out once our teacher, Miss Disa gets her hands on our latest essays ( fingers crossed). On the second day of AEP class, we had a vocabulary test. Words like compunction ( a feeling of guilt or regret),and august (having a formal and impressive quality)are words that I will definitely remember. We then began to do our writing task; the topic was “The desire for higher status or greater wealth than others is what motivates most people to succeed in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.” As I mentioned earlier, our teacher hasn’t checked our essays yet.If you would like to know how it goes, and what my opinion is towards this statement, you’ll just need to wait my next blog. For the mean time, try answering the statement yourself. It is great practice if you want to improve your writing.
Thank you for reading! Catch you next time!
