Hello reader, hope you are having a great day so far!

This week in Aep we came across a new topic in writing; common errors. The book we refer to had got exercises in which the reader has to analyze what kind of errors has been made in the passage given. The errors may be in spelling, word order, articles or singular/plural agreement. The exercises helped my fellow classmates and I to identify and know what kind of common errors not to make while writing.

The second Aep class had us write a essay plan on the topic “The desire for higher status or greater wealth than others is what motivates most people to succeed in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement.”. We later also began to write our essay draft 1, which still hasn’t been handled over to our teacher to check. Updates about this, will be posted in the next week’s blog. Stay tuned!

HW 2 CHAPTER 2 INVISIBLE MAN VOCABULARY

grotesque: odd or unnatural in shape, appearance, or character
contemptuously: in a scornful way that shows disdain.

A phrase I liked: In the middle of the night she woke up dreaming of huge white heads like turnips, that came trailing after her, at the end of interminable necks, and with vast black eyes. But being a sensible woman, she subdued her terrors and turned over and went to sleep again.
